The home itself offers three floors of particularly spacious and elegant accommodation for elderly residents in need of 24-hour nursing as well as dementia care. There is a wide variety of day and activity rooms as well as an orangery, balconies and a roof garden to take full advantage of the surrounding scenery.

In addition, there is always something interesting to explore within our extensive secure landscaped garden with its pathways, raised beds, shrubbery, hedging and trees – you may even want to get involved yourself!

May Events & Activities – Join Us

Every Monday and Tuesday until 26th May, Mini Bus Trips. Mini Bus trips take place every week with our lovely driver Phillip. Each trip is different and tailored to suit our resident’s needs. Our trips so far include cinema, garden centres, horses trust, Hughenden Manor and many more! These trips are always very popular so please book in advance.

Thursday 14th May, 11:00am – 12noon, Service of Hymns and Prayers. We welcome back Rev. Alistair France who will be holding our monthly church service, he will also offer communion if any residents wish to do so. Alistair also offers one to one sessions for our residents.

Friday 22nd May, 11:00am – 12noon, Tai-Chi with Nicole. An hour of gentle, relaxing moves to help stimulate the body and mind. Gentle breathing exercises are also included. It has fast become a firm favourite within Chiltern Grange!

On Wednesday 12th November 2014, Broadcaster, Journalist and Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador Angela Rippon shared her intimate knowledge of the care industry and her passion for championing better care for older people with memory loss conditions. This moving talk captured the spirit of guests, residents and staff before all enjoyed a light lunch.

Adam Henson: My Life on the Land and in the Media – 18th September 2014

From the farm to the telly, Chiltern Grange Care Home hosted BBC Countryfile’s Adam Henson for an informal talk about his life on the farm and on the BBC.  Residents and guests were also able to ask Adam questions about his career on the farm and his on-screen experiences.  This was followed by a delicious light lunch.
