Bourne Wood Manor Christmas Panto

In a bid to raise some festive cheer, care team leader Kim Demianow adapted the classic ‘Snow White’ transforming it into ‘Slow White and the Seven Carers’, taking inspiration from the pandemic for our Christmas panto. Slow White was played by passenger care assistant Tina Hill and instead of eating the poisoned apple, Slow White is sprayed with a sleeping potion – the Pro-Ozone spray used throughout the home. The panto culminated in an ABBA performance with staff in full ABBA costume and everyone up and dancing.

We were pleased to welcome Mayor of Farnham, Cllr Pat Evans, to do us the honour of switching on our Christmas lights on 7th December. Unlike in previous years, the Mayor switched on the lights on our Christmas tree outside whilst our residents watched from the bistro with a nice hot drink and a mince pie. Everyone was waving and cheering the Mayor on as she lit up our garden.
