Wild Science visits Chiltern Grange

We were recently visited by Wild Science, an animal education and therapy company, who brought along some of their domestic and wild animals for our residents to learn about and handle. Our residents decided which animals they would like to see beforehand and at their request, the animals ranged from rabbits and gerbils to a snake, tarantula and a millipede! It was brilliant to learn more about these animals including the type of food they eat, how their body clocks work and their average life span both in the wild and in captivity. We were also able to learn about any special abilities each creature had! Wild Science is always a popular session and we’re already looking forward to their next visit in February.
