Haddon Hall Care Home Blooms in Winter

The weather in Buxton has been particularly unforgiving recently but our green fingered residents have not let this stop them! They have decorated the trees and plants at the main entrance to bring some colour back into our garden during a cold and blustery winter.

Using various crocheted flowers and hand-knitted vines left over from this summer’s Garden Challenge to adorn branches, residents have successfully brought our garden back to life so it continues to provide joy throughout the wetter months. The fine floral handiwork was originally created by local community groups, family, staff and of course, our residents themselves and they’ve commented that our garden is now a cheerful reminder that spring is not far away!
