When life changes for you or a loved one, Hartfield House Care Home offers 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. Care is at the heart of what Porthaven do best and every member of our hand-selected team is chosen for his or her empathy and dedication to the profession. Our primary aim is to provide independence, privacy and dignity for all our residents.

Hartfield House Care Home is an elegant and spacious place to live well, from our thoughtfully designed home that has a variety of beautiful living and dining areas throughout, to every modern and practical amenity. Each bedroom has an en suite wetroom and there are plenty of varied spaces throughout to relax, socialise, enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals or indulge in hobbies. Classic car visit!

John was delighted to see this classic car parked outside our home, and he had a fantastic time inspecting the vehicle’s pristine engine and asking plenty of questions. John has been a classic car fanatic all his life, and even has a weekly classic car magazine subscription, so it was wonderful to be able to provide this experience for him.

National Volunteers Week!

In June we used National Volunteers Week to show our appreciation for our wonderful volunteer Griff, who regularly brings his superb therapy dog Oscar to Hartfield House to spend quality time with our residents. Griff and Oscar’s visits never fail to bring a smile to our residents’ faces, and we all look forward to seeing them – our residents love the opportunity to spoil Oscar with cuddles, treats and belly rubs!

Coronation celebrations!

We celebrated the coronation of King Charles III here at Hartfield House Care Home with a fantastic street-style party! Our residents had a wonderful time decorating our home with bunting and plenty of crafted crowns. We watched the monumental event on our big screen before enjoying a delicious meal made by our talented kitchen team – the coronation quiche went down a treat!
