Lincroft Meadow Welcomes First Resident!

Ken Haddock became Lincroft Meadow’s first resident on Tuesday 2nd January and has settled in really well.

Originally from Selby in North Yorkshire, Ken moved to Doncaster in South Yorkshire with his family at 4 years old. After finishing his education at Thorn Grammar School, he went to join the RAF as a cadet with the intention of becoming a pilot but joined the National Service instead. He went on to work as a quality controller, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Ken has been married to Ann for 62 years and they have two children; Stuart and Lynn. Ken also has four grandchildren – Kate, Bethany, Thomas and Rory – who put a smile on his face every time they visit him. Ken likes animals and is a big fan of cricket and rugby and used to enjoy regular trips to the cinema with Ann. Welcome, Ken!
