Residents Create Mad Hatter’s Garden Party

We have been busy putting together a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party display in our garden, with residents making bird feeders and flower arrangements out of antique china and upcycling old jewellery.

Residents chose the theme and the crockery for this garden project and designed their bird feeders which they then glued together to make an elaborate display. We hung these in the garden surrounding a table which displayed the residents’ beautiful floral arrangements. Relatives who were here for socially distanced visits were able to view the display and many have remarked on how unique and creative it is, it’s become a real talking point for many people. Our residents have enjoyed getting to view this wonderland from their bedrooms windows and it provided them with another garden project to get stuck into now that our garden challenge competition has drawn to a close.
