Prestbury House was transformed on Friday 28th June for National Care Home Open Day to resemble the circus as part of our ‘Greatest Showman’ themed festivities.
With songs from the hit film playing around the home, our front entrance was dressed up to look like guests were walking into a big top and our reception was fully stocked with sweets and popcorn. Our staff seized the opportunity to dress up in some amazing costumes and we played traditional games such as hoop throwing, knocking cans over with a bean bag, plate spinning and much more. Luke Stevens provided live entertainment whilst a theatre group joined us to perform some classic songs from West End musicals.
We were thrilled to be visited by our local deputy mayoress on the day who chatted to our residents and their guests, who all enjoyed soaking up the sun in our garden.
