Head Chef Matt wins Porthaven’s Chef of the Year

Thirlestaine Park care home’s head chef, Matt, with Porthaven’s Chef of the Year award.

This month marked the annual Porthaven Chef Competition at Newlyn’s Farm Shop, Café and Cookery School in Hook. We are delighted to announce that our amazing Head Chef, Matt, won Chef of the Year across the whole of the Porthaven Care Homes group!

His win is a wonderful recognition of the dedication and care he puts into every meal, from comforting favourites to special occasion feasts. We are so proud of Matt, and his winning this award comes as no surprise to us, as his meals are always the very best!
