Residents Enjoy First Barbecue Following Overwhelming Community Kindness

On 22nd April, we hosted a small barbecue for our residents as the weather was beautiful, giving everyone something to look forward to whilst we are under social distancing measures. Our head chef Clare and her team did a great job of providing us with delicious, homemade food as always and we soaked up the sunshine in our garden.
Our residents have adjusted to the new measures brilliantly and we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from our local community. We have received letters and paintings from the children at Robertswood School and from our neighbours too. Over Easter, we were delighted to receive Easter eggs donated to both our hardworking staff and our residents. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who has been so generous – it has brought a smile to many faces here at Woodland Manor.
