Newly opened, Savernake View provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Savernake View is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Porthaven’s expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents at Savernake View benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a café, cinema, hairdressing salon, activities room and private dining room for special family occasions.

Kym’s Pottery

Friday 1st September 2017 - 2:00-3:00pm

Kym will be joining us again this month to make some seasonal crafts out of clay. Kym’s classes are very popular so don’t miss out!

Paws 4 Effect

Thursday 7th September 2017 - 2:00pm

Ellen and her dog Boodikka are coming in to entertain us by showing doggy dancing and tricks. Audience participation is encouraged in the demonstrations and there will be music and displays of the different moves the dog can do.

Horticultural Therapy

Friday 15th September 2017 - 11:00am

Emma will be visiting us to introduce us to the wonderful, creative world of horticultural therapy.

Kiddleydivey

Tuesday 19th September 2017 - 11:00am

Alyson joins us each month for music therapy and everyone, whether young or old thoroughly enjoys connecting with the music and finds the sessions stimulating and social. The sessions connect participants with past and present pleasures and encourage exercise through fun and enjoyment.
