Conveniently located adjacent to Macclesfield District General Hospital where Prestbury Road meets Cumberland Street, Prestbury House enjoys a mature setting only minutes away from Macclesfield town centre. Prestbury House is also less than 20 minutes away from Alderney Edge and Poynton.

Opened in 2011, Prestbury House provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Prestbury House is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, an activities room and a private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Pam’s Owls

Wednesday 9th August 2017 - 11:00am

We will be welcoming Pam to Prestbury House as she brings her owls with her for an out of the ordinary pet therapy session. These sessions are interactive and social and our residents thoroughly enjoy them – everyone is welcome to join in with this session.

George the Pianist

Friday 11th August 2017 - 3:15pm

Residents at Prestbury House are in for an exciting and fun afternoon of singing and dancing to a mixture of old time music as George plays the piano. All welcome!

Mary Sunley Narrow Boat Trip

Monday 14th August 2017 - Time tbc

Come and join us on this fantastic day out as the narrow boat journeys along Macclesfield Canal to Marple and back. There is plenty to see along this route with scenic views towards Manchester and the reminders of our industrial heritage as well as lots of wildlife. During the trip, passengers can sit on the foredeck and take in these views as the narrow boat makes its way to Marple. We will be having a delicious fish and chip supper to end this wonderful trip out.

Minibus Trip to Southport Seaside

Monday 21st August 2017 - Time tbc

Southport is a seaside town of sophisticated charm and character with plenty of activities and sights to be seen throughout the year. Residents will be spending the day by the sea, walking along the beautiful Southport Pier.
