Minibus Trip – Anderton Boat Lift
Thursday 22nd June 2017 - Time tbc
Residents will be visiting the Anderton Boat Lift on the hard working, glass sided boat, The Edwin Clark, named after the engineer who designed and constructed this clever bit of Victorian machinery. The boat seats up to 56 passengers and will take two wheelchairs. There will be two trips, both with a member of the team, who will be sharing the story of the lift, the people of the waterways who used it and the people who brought it back to life so we can still share its magic today. The two trips are to the Anderton Boat Lift and on the river.
All this is happening as well as our regular groups. Contact us today on 01625 506 100 to find out more about these upcoming events and activities or why not suggest an activity yourself!
