Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Christmas Fayre

Wednesday 6th December 2017 - From 2:00pm

We would like to invite you to our Christmas Fayre, where we will be raising money for the Stroke Association, National Activity Providers Association and Alzheimer’s Association. There will be several stalls with Christmas gifts on offer as well as our famous tombola.

Christmas Lights Switch On

Thursday 7th December 2017 - 6:30-8:30pm

Please join us at the official switch on of our Christmas lights, featuring a special performance from the Buxton Spa Choir. We will be providing light refreshments including mulled wine and mince pies, so come and enjoy an evening in our beautiful home, enjoy the music and chat with our residents.

Havana Nights

Monday 18th December 2017 - 2:30-3:30pm

Come along to see a multitude of show dances which infuse different styles from Latin American, tango, salsa, rock ‘n’ roll, modern ballroom & contemporary. Havana Nights incorporates theatrical choreography, inventive and varied music scores, dynamic movement and exciting lifts with the glitz & glamour of their costumes.

Staff Panto – Beauty and the Beast

Thursday 21st December 2017 - 2:30-4:00pm

With our manager taking centre stage as Beauty and other staff members playing equally hilarious roles, this will be a fun packed afternoon. If you want a good laugh and to see our staff as you’ve never seen them before, why not come along!
