Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, activities room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Anthony Lye, Pianist

Friday 6th October 2017 - 2:30pm

Anthony is an accomplished pianist, who likes to reminisce with our residents and play their favourite tunes. We look forward to welcoming him and anyone who wishes to join us is welcome to!


Monday 9th October 2017 - 11:00am

Haddon Hall Care Home welcomes back Zoolab, the UK’s best animal handling experience. Everyone is welcome to join this innovative and sensory session!

Music Therapy

MONDAY 9TH & 23RD OCTOBER - 2:30pm-3:30pm

Music therapist, Chier, combines educational and energetic music therapy sessions with a great hands-on approach to exploring the world around us through music, dance and stories. The relaxed, informal atmosphere makes it an ideal activity for adults who simply want to have fun.

Buxton Musical Memories

Tuesday 10th October 2017 - 10:00am-12:30pm

We continue to work with Making Space which runs ‘Musical Memories’ to support Buxton Dementia Alliance. Why not come along for a tea or coffee, have a chat with some of the residents and enjoy the music.
