Happy 100th birthday, Dougie!

This month at Chiltern Grange, we celebrated our lovely resident Dougie’s 100th birthday! It was a truly special day, filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt well-wishes from residents and staff alike.

One of our residents, Bert, even set up his easel and paints to create a beautiful, personalised memento for Dougie—a touching gesture that perfectly captured the sense of friendship and community we share here at Chiltern Grange.

On behalf of everyone here at Chiltern Grange, we hope you had a wonderful birthday, Dougie.

Meet the family day brings smiles all around

What a glorious time was had by all at our “meet the family day” this month!

Our staff were invited to bring their children to the afternoon event, where they could meet our residents, participate in outdoor activities, enjoy some lovely food from the barbecue, and visit the tiki bar for refreshments. It was so lovely seeing our residents and staff spend time with their loved ones at our home. We cherish the intergenerational relationships we foster here at Chiltern Grange Care Home.

The sun shone, and it was the most enjoyable afternoon.

Wimbledon at Chiltern Grange

What a fabulous Wimbledon celebration we held in July here at our Chiltern Grange Care Home! The sun shone brightly, the Pimms flowed nicely, the singer belted out our favourite tunes, and the amazing spread was exceptional. Our Head Chef Gabi truly outdid herself this time. We even had an incredible tennis ball cake that tasted as magnificent as it sounds!
