Within easy reach of the nearby towns of Princes Risborough, Chinnor, Watlington, Marlow, Hazlemere and High Wycombe, Chiltern Grange is a popular home for local Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire residents.

Opened in 2013, Chiltern Grange provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Chiltern Grange is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, library, orangery, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

VE Day Celebration

Saturday 8th May 2021 - 3.30pm

We are looking forward to hosting a little garden party in celebration of VE Day, remembering those that served and sharing lots of special memories as we enjoy food, drink and live entertainment in our beautiful garden.

Marilyn Sings

Friday 14th May 2021 - 2.00pm

We are delighted to have a Marilyn singing some old classics, helping us to drift down memory lane for an hour or two, remembering special moments in our lives associated with song. We are lucky enough to have Marilyn singing once a week alternating floors each week to give the whole home some great sing-along performances.

Bus Trip to Windsor

Tuesday 18th May 2021 - 11.00am

We are excited to be able to hop on our minibus for our weekly bus trips and next on the agenda is a trip to beautiful Windsor, home of the world famous Windsor Castle. These trips acts as brilliant talking points for our residents who are always full of knowledge about the places we visit and suggestions as to where we can visit next!

Scrabble Club

EVERY WEDNESDAY - 3.30pm

Our Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday and it’s a great chance to get our minds ticking, trying to come up with the highest scoring word. A healthy mind prompts a healthy body and competition in this session can be fierce.

Minibus Trips Resume at Porthaven Care Homes

We were as thrilled as our residents were to see the minibuses back in action this week! In line with the UK government roadmap out of lockdown, we have resumed short trips out and about in the local areas. With our residents and staff now vaccinated, this is truly a sign of better days ahead and a welcome return to our leisure and wellness programmes. Valentine’s Day at Chiltern Grange

Our residents enjoyed celebrating Valentine’s Day with some treats throughout the day, ensuring the smiles never left their faces. This lifted the residents’ spirits during a time when they haven’t been able to visit with their loved ones due to restrictions but we hope this won’t be for much longer.
