Decorating the Chiltern Grange Christmas Cake

Date posted: 5th January 2021

Residents undertook the important job of decorating our Christmas cake in the run up to Christmas, which they did to the tune of Christmas carols and other festive songs.

Firstly, they decorated the gingerbread men which surrounded the cake itself before adding some decoration to the top of the cake too. We had a great time preparing the cake and an even better time eating it!

Lara Luu Performs

Date posted: 13th October 2020

Lara Luu returned to sing for us for the first time since March, performing a varied set much to our residents’ delight. Lara performed everything from 1930’s classics to Elvis’ hits from the 50’s and 60’s. Residents were asked to submit song requests to the leisure and wellness team in advance so Lara could perform personal favourites for everyone. This went down so well that we will be doing the same ahead of Lara’s return at the end of October.
