Biscuit Baking

Date posted: 6th July 2022

Our residents here at Chiltern Grange in Stokenchurch enjoy a range of activities throughout the month. One of our most popular activities is baking with our Leisure and Wellness Team!

We decided on a classic shortbread recipe and after lots of rolling and shaping, the biscuits went into the oven to bake. As the finished biscuits made their way back to the leisure and wellness room, the floor was filled with a divine scent! Needless to say, they didn’t last long at all!

Ark Farm visit

Date posted: 2nd May 2022

Here at Chiltern Grange in Stokenchurch, we were thrilled to welcome Ark Farm. Coordinator, Hannah, brought along her dog, eight rabbits, five guinea pigs, two tortoises, two flying squirrels, a hedgehog and an owl called Plop!

All of the animals were extremely tame and they sat beautifully with our residents as they enjoyed petting, stroking and cuddling. Sensory experiences always go down so well with everyone and we can’t wait for Hannah and her furry friends to visit again!
