Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Curry Night

Wednesday 9th October 2019 - 5:00pm

As part of National Curry Week, we will be savouring a range of Indian dishes. We will be tantalising our taste buds and reaching the senses with spices from far off lands! Throw in some Bollywood music and join us for an evening of culture!

Kath’s Pop Up Shop

Monday 14th October 2019 - 2:00pm

Specialists in ladies and gents clothing, Kath’s pop up shop is set up in the dining room and boasts a wide variety of apparel for your perusal. They also sell bags, slippers and nightwear so if there is anything that you are short of, or if you simply want to treat yourself, why not pop along?

Music Therapy with Chier

Monday 21st October 2019

Music therapist, Chier, provides one to one and group sessions with a great hands-on approach. The informal atmosphere makes it an ideal activity for grown-ups who simply want to have fun. Exploring the world around us through music and stories helps to relax the mind, body and soul.

Brendan Fox

Wednesday 23rd October 2019 - 2:30pm

Brendan has played for us several times now and has become a firm favourite with our residents who make for a very enthusiastic and appreciative audience. He sings songs from the past and present, whilst playing his guitar and has the ability to bring back memories of fond times through the songs he has chosen to play. We Invite family and friends to join us as the power of music brings us all together.
