With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.
Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.
All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.
In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

JULY 2022
International Joke Day
There will be lots of laughter here at Haddon Hall as we take part in International Joke Day. We will be competing ‘laughter yoga’ and sharing our favourite jokes!
We are really looking forward to this Wimbledon-themed garden party. Guests will receive prosecco on arrival and we will be enjoying entertainment from Sarah Bright.
To mark this day, our fantastic kitchen team will be preparing themed food including hot dogs, milkshakes and we will even have an American-style burger bar!
Our residents can indulge in the ‘chocolate tasting trolley’ featuring chocolate from all around the world.
We are looking forward to listening to selection of songs, old and new, sung by the wonderful Julie.
Throughout the week, we will be taking part in a range of activities and welcoming guest artists as we work on our piece ready for the Buxton Art Trail.
Our doors will be open to the public as we welcome visitors on the Buxton Art Trail. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a warm drink and a cake whilst observing our art work!

We will be bringing residents and family members together on the fully accessible canal boat, Mary Sunley. We always create lovely memories and reminisce on holidays gone by whilst taking in the wildlife and enjoying a picnic.
Join us on these dates as we take the minibus out and about into our local community.
Our weekly Art Club is facilitated by our local artist, Katharine.
Keith hosts our ever popular daily chair based exercise class. Join us for an active start to the day!
This regular get together helps to keep our minds active. Who will produce the winning word?
Meet us in the library before we set out and tend to our beautiful garden.

Read moreWe celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee here at Haddon Hall Care Home with a garden party involving our residents, relatives, staff members and friends of the local Buxton community.
Our talented kitchen team put together a fantastic spread of food and drinks and the gin and tonics went down a treat! We welcomed the incredibly talented Sam Jones, who sang a variety of patriotic songs before Janet, our very own queen of Haddon Hall Care Home, officially opened our jubilee gardens. The star of the show was of course Arthur the corgi, who looked very handsome in his union jack bow tie!
To celebrate Easter this year at Haddon Hall in Buxton, we decided to donate the funds raised from our raffle to Parkinson’s UK as part of Parkinson’s Awareness Week.
We were thrilled to raise £162.00 towards such an important cause. On behalf of everyone here at Haddon Hall Care Home, we would like to say a big thank you to Parkinson’s UK for everything that you do to help support those with Parkinson’s. We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone that donated, we couldn’t have done it without your generous contributions. Well done to our Administrator, Lisa, who won the Easter egg pyramid!
