Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Cinema Trip

Monday 1st April 2019

How fortunate are we that Buxton cinema is hosting the classic film ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’? Based on Truman Capote’s novel, this is the story of a young woman in New York City who meets a young man when he moves into her apartment building. It stars Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard and won two Oscars. Get the popcorn out and count me in!

Music Therapy with Chier

Monday 15th April 2019 - 2:30pm

Music Therapist, Chier, provides sessions with a great hands-on approach and an informal atmosphere, making it an ideal activity for grown-ups who simply want to have fun. Exploring the world around us through music and stories helps to relax the mind, body and soul.

Easter Weekend


Join in with our Easter festivities! The first bank holidays of the year have just got to be filled with Easter themed activities. Starting with an Easter egg hunt for the children of Green Lane Nursery on Thursday afternoon, we are also expecting a visit from the Easter Bunny with eggs for everyone on Easter Sunday!

Movement to Music with Jenny

Run by Chris Hill Community Sports, their aim is to empower people to learn new skills, interact with others, stay healthy and have fun through the provision of sporting activities. Proud to be local and provide the majority of their services in Buxton. Why not come along, have a laugh and get fit whilst having fun with Jenny and our residents?
