Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Buxton Garden Trail

SATURDAY 8TH & SUNDAY 9TH JUNE - All Day

We continue to work with the community as we open our doors to the public, inviting them to visit our wonderful and accessible garden. Tea and tasty treats are available for a small donation to a charity of our residents’ choice (as yet undecided). Last year, we received lots of visitors and enjoyed sharing two beautiful days of sunshine in the garden with our guests.

Father’s Day

Sunday 16th June 2019 - 10:00am

Father’s Day will be celebrated with a visit from our leisure and wellness team bearing gifts for all the fellas! Mother’s Day is such a big thing nowadays, we reckon it’s only fair the men get a treat too!

Music Therapy with Chier

Monday 17th June 2019 - 2:30pm

Music therapist, Chier, provides one to one and group sessions with a great hands-on approach. An informal atmosphere makes it an ideal activity for grown-ups who simply want to have fun. Exploring the world around us through music and stories helps to relax the mind, body and soul.

National Care Home Open Day

Friday 28th June 2019 - From 2:30pm & 7:00pm

We have a busy day planned for National Care Home Open Day. We open our doors to the public and invite them in to see our beautiful, busy and much loved home. We have musician, James, singing from 2:30pm followed by an artist’s workshop. In the evening, there will be a gallery of our residents artworks on display, alongside an exhibition of local artwork, lots of which will be for sale. Expand your cultural mind, mix and mingle and enjoy a glass of wine with us.
