Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Buxton Musical Memories

Tuesday 5th June 2018 - 10:30am–12:30pm

We continue to work with ‘Making Space’ who run Musical Memories to support Buxton Dementia Alliance. Why not come along for tea or coffee, have a chat with some of our residents and enjoy the music.

Haddon Hall Care Home would like to welcome back Wendy who plays a selection of music through the ages on the piano. Wendy is also very good at taking requests and getting everyone involved and singing.

Owl Friends

Monday 25th June 2018 - 2:30pm

Stockley Farm’s birds of prey will be paying a visit providing a wonderful display for groups of our residents and they will also be taking the owls from room to room for those who are not physically able to attend. Get up close and personal with Stockley Farm’s owls, hawks and falcons and meet Kevin their friendly kestrel too!

Mature Movers

Friday 29th June 2018 - 11:00am

Run by Chris Hill Community Sports, their aim is to empower people to learn new skills, interact with others, stay healthy and have fun through the provision of sporting activities. This organisation is proud to be local and to provide the majority of their services in Buxton. Why not come along, have a laugh and get fit whilst having fun with Jenny and our residents?
