Fred Rolland, Spanish guitar

Tuesday 11th January 2022 - 6.30pm

We are continuing to develop our local community links and we are delighted to welcome back Fred Rolland to Haddon Hall, who will be playing his Spanish guitar for us. From Mal Agana to Flamenco, we will be listening to the beautiful sounds of Spanish music.

Movement to music

Monday 24th January 2022 - 11.15am

Jenny and her team host our regular ‘Movement to ‘Music’ session; a fun and uplifting exercise class set to music. Jenny will often bring props to her seated dance class which are accessible for everyone. As the ‘Mature Movers’ sessions can be taken seated from chairs, it does not matter what range of movement participants have or their level of fitness. The class content is adapted to suit individual needs and provide enjoyment. Music and movement combinations stimulate the mind as well as the body and both are kept active throughout the session.

Burns Night

Tuesday 25th January 2022

Tonight, we celebrate Burns Night and pay tribute to the life of Robert Burns. We will indulge in comforting Scottish dishes, such as cock-a-leekie soup, haggis with creamy tatties and neeps, followed by cranachan and a wee dram!

All this is happening as well as our regular groups. Contact us today on 01298 600 700 to find out more about these upcoming events and activities or why not suggest an activity yourself!

Many of our staff members joined in and we had elves from every department! Keith and Angie from leisure and wellness visited every resident and took a sELFie with them, which was great fun. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised over £100 for the Alzheimer’s Society. After Jenni’s amazing marathon running, we were able to donate even more towards the fantastic cause!
