Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Tuesday 14th January 2020 - From 2:30pm

We look forward to welcoming the local Connex Community team who will be bringing their Kurling activity for us to participate in. No special skills required, it’s easy and accessible for anyone to play. A great way to meet new people and socialise with our community. Why not give it a go?

Music Therapy with Chier

Monday 20th January 2020 - 2:30pm

Music therapist Chier provides sessions with a great hands-on approach. The informal atmosphere makes it an ideal activity for grown-ups who simply want to have fun. Exploring the world around us through music and stories helps to relax the mind, body and soul.

Cinema Trip – Judy

Friday 24th January 2020 - 10:00am

We are really looking forward to going to the flicks at Stockport Plaza to see the movie ‘Judy’ which has received rave reviews from the critics. After the film, we will take lunch in their beautifully decorated art nouveau restaurant. Join us on our charming trip down memory lane to see Renee Zellweger portray Judy Garland arriving in London in 1957 to perform a series of sell out concerts.

Chinese New Year

Monday 27th January 2020 - All Day

Chinese New Year is a Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of the New Year on the traditional Chinese calendar. This year is the Year of the Rat and anyone born in this year is said to be industrious and thrifty, diligent and positive. We will be making Chinese lanterns and working with our fantastic chefs who will be bringing you some tasty Chinese delicacies to try.
