Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Barry Mansfield

Wednesday 6th November 2019 - 2:30pm

We welcome back Barry to entertain us with his keyboard and wonderful voice. He sings songs from the past and the present, making sure that everyone is joining in as he goes. Why not join our residents and have nice cup of tea as Barry takes us on a wonderful journey through the 50’s and 60’s world of music.

Music Therapy with Chier

Monday 18th November 2019

Music therapist, Chier, provides one to one and group sessions with a great hands-on approach. An informal atmosphere makes it an ideal activity for grown-ups who simply want to have fun. Exploring the world around us through music and stories helps to relax the mind, body and soul.

Lantern Workshop

Thursday 21st November 2019 - 2:30pm

Join the Buxton Sparkles group here at Haddon Hall in a lantern making workshop. Everyone is welcome to take part and create their own willow lantern. Buxton Sparkles is a community group working with the community for the community. They aim to bring local people together to create events that will not only bring a smile to the faces of those involved but to also bring a little sparkle to the streets of Buxton.

Christmas Fair

Saturday 30th November 2019 - 1:00pm–4:00pm

Christmas is coming and it’s time to make Haddon sparkle! Welcome to the start of our Christmas festivities at Haddon Hall Care Home as we host our very own Christmas Fair. Lots of stalls have been arranged with a wide variety of merchandise – it’s the perfect way to get started on your Christmas shopping whilst supporting local businesses. There will also be a tombola and we will be serving warm mulled wine and mince pies. Please join us for this very special event at a special time of year.
