Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.

Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Minibus Trips


We are as thrilled as our residents to see the minibuses back in action! As we move back to normality we have resumed short trips out and about in the local areas. With our residents and staff now vaccinated, this is truly a sign of better days ahead and a welcome return to our leisure and wellness programmes.

Gin Tasting Social

THURSDAYS IN September - 2.30pm

The love of gin will never fade but has been particularly popular recently. On Thursday afternoons throughout September we will enjoy a selection of different flavours and brands to find our favourite. Let the drinking be-GIN!

John Jones Accordionist

Tuesday 14th September 2021 - 2.30pm

John Jones MBE has many years of experience playing his accordion. Also a fluent pianist, he has raised over £320,000 for East Cheshire Hospice and Macclesfield Hospital Intensive Care Unit. We look forward to welcoming John and his talents to play for all three floors.

Art in Care Homes National Day – Museum of Life

Friday 24th September 2021 - All Day

For Arts in Care Homes Day we will be hosting a ‘Museum of Life’ exhibition. Exploring our resident’s everyday experiences taken from throughout their lives with displays of objects and photographs, with audio and video too.
