Easter Weekend

Join in with our Easter festivities – we will be spring crafting, chocolate tasting, exploring the Easter story and singing hymns. We are even expecting a visit from the Easter bunny with eggs for everyone!

Pop-Up Shop

Friday 9th April 2021 - 2.00pm

Our pop-up shop proves popular and as a result, we now take the shop to the residents on a mobile trolley. Here, residents can purchase essentials and luxury items for themselves at reasonable prices. For residents who need help with low vision, writing and mobility, Keith and Angie will be on hand to assist.

Music Therapy with Sarah Bright

Wednesday 21st April 2021 - 2.30pm

Music therapist, Sarah, provides one-to-one Zoom sessions because music is an ideal activity for grownups who simply want to have fun. Working from life stories, she gets to know our residents’ love of different music and artists then takes them on a journey around the world to help relax the mind, body and soul.

Leisure and Wellness Meeting

Wednesday 28th April 2021 - 2.30pm

On the last Wednesday of every month, we hold a leisure and wellness meeting with our residents to see what activities and events they might like, where they might like to go on our minibus trips and to check that they are happy with the way we are providing their activity programme. As part of the Haddon Hall Care Home family, residents’ friends and relatives are more than welcome to join us.

All this is happening as well as our regular groups. Contact us today on 01298 600 700 to find out more about these upcoming events and activities or why not suggest an activity yourself!

Love Is All You Knead

Date posted: 9th March 2021

We had lots of fun making heart-shaped biscuits for Valentine’s Day. Everyone contributed whilst chatting, laughing and giggling along the way and we took the time to reminisce about watching our mothers bake and coming home from school to the delicious aromas filling the kitchen. Baking comes with many benefits, helping to calm, relax and boost happiness, as well as the obvious edible culinary masterpiece to consume at the end of our efforts. Baking is definitely our new favourite hobby!
