Conveniently located minutes from the centre of the historic spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District, Haddon Hall Care Home enjoys its prominent location in the town, famous for its spring water and the hosting of the internationally renowned Buxton Festival. With activities being an integral part of day to day living at Haddon Hall, this cultural influence is embraced warmly by the home. Haddon Hall is also less than 20 minutes away from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Bakewell.
Opened in 2014, Haddon Hall provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Haddon Hall is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.
Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.
All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, activities and wellbeing room, home shop and private dining room for special family occasions.
In keeping with our unique and award winning activities and wellbeing philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Read moreWe know how important it is for our residents to feel part of our Buxton community, so we are always looking for ways to maintain strong links with those in our local area. One of the main ways we do this is through our wonderful volunteers, and in June our residents enjoyed plenty of quality time with our lovely volunteer, Cynthia! With her friendly smile and sharp wit, Cynthia is a valued member of our team who has formed firm friendships with many of our residents from years spent shopping, socialising and even hosting Scrabble competitions! Thank you, Cynthia – you are a superstar.
Read moreHere at Haddon Hall Care Home, we celebrated the coronation of King Charles III with our very own indoor street party! The talented Sam Jones, pictured here alongside our resident Elaine, sang us a number of fantastic patriotic tunes whilst our residents danced along and waved their union jack flags! We certainly worked up an appetite, so everybody was thrilled to sit down for a traditional Sunday roast prepared by our exceptional kitchen team. Before we tucked in, our residents, staff and guests all raised a glass of champagne to toast to our newly crowned King!
