This will be a chance to savour a range of dishes including Indian, Chinese, Italian and Spanish, amongst others! Time to tantalise the taste buds and reach the senses with tastes, textures and spices from far off lands! It just needs us to throw in a glass of French wine for an all rounded evening of culture!
Saturday 31st October 2020
Time to decorate our home, make Halloween treats, pick out our favourite spooky movies and celebrate Halloween to frightening perfection! Look out for our Funny Bones Halloween jokes session, pumpkin flower arranging and Beastly Baking class. We’re in for a busy day!
Kinesis One Personal Gym Sessions
EVERY DAY - 9.30am
The Kinesis Machine has proved very popular here at Haddon Hall. Physical exercise during older age strengthens the muscles, facilitates mobility and can help prevent injuries and falls. The gym is easily adaptable to individual physical needs and is simple to use for all abilities. Our aim is to encourage the residents at Haddon Hall to set their own exercise goals, so they can maintain their dignity and improve their independence.
Knit and Natter Club
EVERY WEDNESDAY - 10.00am
If you are new to knitting or a seasoned pro, our knitting group, hosted by the U3A might be just what you have been looking for. Joining a knitting group can offer you help with a new pattern, help completing a lingering project, new knitting project ideas, and the ability to make new friends with similar interests to yours. Why not come along and meet our residents for a chat and a knit over a nice cup of tea?
All this is happening as well as our regular groups. Contact us today on 01298 600 700 to find out more about these upcoming events and activities or why not suggest an activity yourself!
