Conveniently located adjacent to Macclesfield District General Hospital where Prestbury Road meets Cumberland Street, Prestbury House enjoys a mature setting only minutes away from Macclesfield town centre. Prestbury House is also less than 20 minutes away from Alderley Edge and Poynton.

Opened in 2011, Prestbury House provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Prestbury House is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and a private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Join us for our Dementia café where we will be raising important funds for Dementia Action Week in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s society. Enjoy some delicious tea, coffee and cakes.

National BBQ Week

Come and enjoy the gorgeous weather in our gardens, as we enjoy our chef’s wonderful BBQ meals in celebration for National BBQ Week.

Easter at Prestbury House

To celebrate Easter here at Prestbury House in Macclesfield, we made the most of the sunshine on the bank holiday weekend! Our residents gathered in the garden to enjoy a delicious hot cross bun along with some chocolate treats whilst taking part in some Easter-themed crafts. Valentine’s Day

On the 14th of February, residents from the ground floor of Prestbury House Care Home took part in an afternoon of craft and made heart decorations to stick on the windows in Capesthorne lounge. Our staff helped some residents by drawing some pictures of hearts and our residents then cut them out. It was a very crafty activity enjoyed by all!
