News & Events at Savernake View

This month, our Client Services Manager, Robyn, had the honour of delivering £850 raised by our incredible team, residents, and friends here at Savernake View Care Home to Prospect Hospice.

We are incredibly proud of the collective effort that went into achieving this fantastic total, and we know it will make a meaningful difference to the work Prospect Hospice does in supporting people and families in our community.

This generous donation showcases the compassion and community spirit that make Savernake View truly special. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, supported, or simply cheered us on—every effort helped make this happen.

An unforgettable afternoon with K&H Falconry

We were thrilled to welcome K&H Falconry to our home in August, as they brought along a stunning selection of their magnificent birds of prey for our residents to see up close.

Watching them fly and interact with their handlers was nothing short of mesmerising. Our residents have had the most fantastic time watching the birds fly around our home!

A huge thank you goes to K&H Falconry for giving us such a remarkable opportunity to learn about and enjoy these incredible animals. It was truly a day to remember, and one we are sure will be talked about fondly for a long time to come.

Seaside reminiscing

On the 25th of July, we brought the joy of the seaside to our home during our annual beach day. Our residents were treated to fish and chips served in traditional paper, delicious ice cream cones and the opportunity to dip their toes in our paddling pool.

To make the experience even more authentic, we even welcomed some wonderful donkeys to our home to join our residents in the garden! Between beach-themed activities and drinks brought directly to our residents beneath their umbrellas, everyone had fun soaking up the sunshine and the atmosphere.  Who needs a trip to the coast when the coast can come to you?
