Located just a few minutes’ drive from the thriving high street centre of Marlborough, and with an elevated position overlooking Salisbury Road and affording far reaching views to Savernake Forest, Savernake View Care Home is ideally located for the residents of Marlborough, as well as other nearby towns and villages like Pewsey, Devizes, Ramsbury, Swindon, Hungerford and Aldborne which are all within easy reach.

Opened in August 2016, Savernake View provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Savernake View is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Porthaven’s expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents at Savernake View benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a café, cinema, hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercise.

Spin with Margaret

Tuesday 8th September 2020 - 2:00pm

Join Margaret for a sit down spin class using a set of pedals and an interactive video to allow you to explore a destination you may have never contemplated visiting before. This class is fun, interactive and great for helping you remain active and mobile.

Arts and Crafts with Ocean

Wednesday 16th September 2020 - 3:15pm

Many of our residents love to try their hand at new crafting ideas so this is always a popular class. If you have any crafts you’d like to try, please let us know and we will try our hardest to accommodate your request.

Afternoon Tea

Sunday 20th September 2020 - 3:00pm

We all enjoy a spot of afternoon tea and our talented kitchen team pull out all the stops to create an enticing selection for residents to enjoy. There will be sandwiches and delicious homemade cake to tuck into as well as copious cups of tea to warm us up as the weather starts to become milder.

Pottery with Margaret

Friday 25th September 2020 - 2:00pm

Join Margaret for her brilliant pottery class and make something extraordinary! We have made an array of items so far and we have improved upon our skills each session so please come along and have a go!
