Located just a few minutes’ drive from the thriving high street centre of Marlborough, and with an elevated position overlooking Salisbury Road and affording far reaching views to Savernake Forest, Savernake View Care Home is ideally located for the residents of Marlborough, as well as other nearby towns and villages like Pewsey, Devizes, Ramsbury, Swindon, Hungerford and Aldborne which are all within easy reach.

Opened in August 2016, Savernake View provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Savernake View is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Porthaven’s expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents at Savernake View benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a café, cinema, hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercise.

Milestone Museum

Join us on our trip to the Milestone Museum and take a trip into the past as we see life in different eras. We have visited before and it was both educational and amazing to see what life was like in years gone by. Book your place now to avoid disappointment.

G Fitness

Thursday 23rd January 2020 - 11:30am

G Fitness are back for their first 2020 session! This is a lively chair-based exercise routine, enjoyed by all that attend. Guaranteed to warm us up, with some excellent stretches afterwards. Everybody comes away smiling after this session!

Burns Night

Saturday 25th January 2020

Join us for a traditional Burns Night celebrating the famous Scottish bard, Robert Burns. We will be making Scottish kilted shortbreads in honour of his home country.

Christmas Fair Celebrations

In December, the captivating Pewsey Male Voice Choir joined guests, residents, families and friends for merriments at our Christmas Fair and our Christmas light switch on by local town mayor, Councillor Mervyn Hall. Founded in 2006, Pewsey MVC sing for the fun of it with the aim of bringing their audiences the same pleasure.
