Located just a few minutes’ drive from the thriving high street centre of Marlborough, and with an elevated position overlooking Salisbury Road and affording far reaching views to Savernake Forest, Savernake View Care Home is ideally located for the residents of Marlborough, as well as other nearby towns and villages like Pewsey, Devizes, Ramsbury, Swindon, Hungerford and Aldborne which are all within easy reach.

Opened in August 2016, Savernake View provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Savernake View is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Porthaven’s expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents at Savernake View benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a café, cinema, hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercise.

Memory Café & Entertainment

Monday 18th November 2019 - 2:00pm

Join us for refreshments, reminiscence and entertainment from the soulful tones of Pewsey Male Choir at our Orangery Coffee Bar.

Research Support Network Conference 2019

Saturday 23rd November 2019 - 2:00pm

We will be live streaming the Parkinson’s UK Research Support Network Conference 2019 from the comfort of our cinema. Come along and watch the conference if you live locally and are unable to travel to the conference being held in Birmingham. This is open to our guests who attend our monthly Parkinson’s Café and people who attend Parkinson’s Cafes in our local area. Attendance for part of or the whole day is dependent on interest in agenda items. There is opportunity for guests to raise and ask questions during the conference via the audience participation tool, ‘Slido’, which will allow both in-person and online guests to submit questions and answer polls. Please let us know if you’d like to attend.

Seated Yoga with Mark


Back by popular demand, Mark helps our residents to start the day off well. Mark’s enthusiastic but calming approach assists residents through gentle morning stretches and poses, which is followed by guided relaxation with calming music, all from the comfort and security of an armchair.
