Bordering the historic mill town of Congleton and the delightful village of Astbury in the heart of East Cheshire, Astbury Mere enjoys a truly enviable position. Whilst only a few minutes drive from the centre of town, the home enjoys a leafy setting adjacent to the natural open beauty of Astbury Mere Country Park. Astbury Mere is also less than 20 minutes away from Biddulph, Kidsgrove and Sandbach.

Opened in 2010, Astbury Mere provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Astbury Mere is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, a leisure and wellness room and a private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped gardens for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Musical Moments

TUESDAY 10TH & 17TH SEPTEMBER - 3:30–4:30pm

This is an interactive musical workshop which is uplifting and provides stimulation through the use of live instruments, movement, singing and reminiscence. Musical Moments is on every Tuesday throughout September so please let us know if you’d like to come along to this popular session.

Last Night of the Proms & Gin Tasting Event

Saturday 14th September 2019 - 6:30pm

A chance to listen to fantastic music whilst sampling a selection of gins. Join us as we get warmed up for an evening of fun and laughter.

Miniature Golf Day

Saturday 21st September 2019 - 11:30am–2:30pm

Why not have a go at indoor miniature golf? Come and try your hand at a sport which you may already be a dab hand at or have wanted to try out for a while. In the ground floor drawing room.

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Friday 27th September 2019 - 11:30am

Please come and join us in supporting Macmillan at their World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. We will be hosting a coffee morning with lots of fun things going on and plenty of delicious cakes to buy.
