Bordering the historic mill town of Congleton and the delightful village of Astbury in the heart of East Cheshire, Astbury Mere enjoys a truly enviable position. Whilst only a few minutes drive from the centre of town, the home enjoys a leafy setting adjacent to the natural open beauty of Astbury Mere Country Park. Astbury Mere is also less than 20 minutes away from Biddulph, Kidsgrove and Sandbach.

Opened in 2010, Astbury Mere provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Astbury Mere is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, a leisure and wellness room and a private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped gardens for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Easter Arts Judging Day

Wednesday 3rd April 2019 - 10:00am

Residents will be judging the annual Easter arts competition at Havannah Primary School.

Technology Session

Friday 12th April 2019 - 3:00pm

Join us to try your hand at using the iPads and computers. We will be holding a technology session for those new to using the iPad and computers so please call for more information if you’re wishing to join us for this session.

Kath’s Pop Up Shop

Saturday 13th April 2019 - 2:30pm

Wanting to spruce up your wardrobe? Here’s your chance! Kath will have a great range of new spring clothing on offer, ranging from dresses, cardigans, underwear and nightwear for both men and women. Don’t miss out on the latest looks.

Body Shop Pamper Time

Friday 26th April 2019 - 2:30pm

Check out the fantastic offers available from Andrea who works for Body Shop from Home. Why not join us for some delightful refreshments and enjoy the chance to have a free facial or hand and arm massage. Please book as spaces are limited.
