Bordering the historic mill town of Congleton and the delightful village of Astbury in the heart of East Cheshire, Astbury Mere enjoys a truly enviable position. Whilst only a few minutes drive from the centre of town, the home enjoys a leafy setting adjacent to the natural open beauty of Astbury Mere Country Park. Astbury Mere is also less than 20 minutes away from Biddulph, Kidsgrove and Sandbach.

Opened in 2010, Astbury Mere provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Astbury Mere is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, a leisure and wellness room and a private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped gardens for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Garden Meeting

Let’s spring into action and discuss some blooming great ideas for our garden! Residents, relatives and community friends are most welcome to attend. Join us in the ground floor garden room.

Bee Active Sports Sessions

FRIDAY 1ST, 8TH, 15TH & 22ND FEBRUARY - 11:00am

Come and join in on our fitness sessions with our personal trainer Jake, who will be promoting gentle exercise, rhythm and coordination. It’s uplifting and fun – all welcome!

Performance by Afternoon Delights

Thursday 14th February 2019 - 2:30pm

Enjoy an afternoon of live musical entertainment in the ground floor drawing room, with dynamic duo, Afternoon Delights.

Spring Visual Show

Wednesdays - 11:30am

Come along to the ground floor drawing room and see this slow motion spring visual show, accompanied by relaxing music.
