Bordering the historic mill town of Congleton and the delightful village of Astbury in the heart of East Cheshire, Astbury Mere enjoys a truly enviable position. Whilst only a few minutes drive from the centre of town, the home enjoys a leafy setting adjacent to the natural open beauty of Astbury Mere Country Park. Astbury Mere is also less than 20 minutes away from Biddulph, Kidsgrove and Sandbach.

Opened in 2010, Astbury Mere provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Astbury Mere is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, a leisure and wellness room and a private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped gardens for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Come and meet up with friends, whilst enjoying familiar songs from times gone by. Community visitors and families are welcome to join us too for this session in the garden room.

Friday 10th May 2019 - 2:30pm

Join us in the leisure and wellness room to embrace technology and learn some new skills.

Live Concert

Sunday 12th May 2019 - 2:00-5:00pm

We’ll be attending the popular ‘Thanks for the Memory’ concert at Cranage Hall which is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and the Mid Cheshire Hospital Charity. There will be live bands starting from 2:00pm and residents have the opportunity to attend this fun afternoon if they would like to.

Cheese and Wine Event

Saturday 25th May 2019 - 3:00pm

Come along and enjoy sampling cheeses and wines whilst listening to relaxing music. Join us in the ground floor dining area and try something new.
