Wiltshire Heights is situated close to the centre of the picturesque market town of Bradford on Avon. This aspirational destination is well-loved for its charming atmosphere, together with its delightful range of shops, restaurants and tearooms. The town is also within easy reach of the World Heritage Site of Bath with its stunning architecture, great shopping and iconic attractions, and is also less than 10 minutes away from Trowbridge.

Opened in 2013, Wiltshire Heights provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Wiltshire Heights is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our south-facing roof terraces and private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

World Bike Day

Thursday 3rd June 2021 - 3.00pm

We will be taking part in a virtual Tour de France using our amazing Motoview exercise bike whilst enjoying coffee, tea and French cuisine.

Bradford on Avon Choir

Wednesday 9th June 2021 - 2.45pm

Weather permitting, the talented choir from Bradford on Avon Choral Society will be singing a melody of folk songs in the garden to residents. We enjoyed their Christmas carol service and the residents requested a return for a summer performance.

100th Birthday Celebrations

Friday 11th June 2021 - 3.00pm

Staff and friends will celebrate Frank’s 100th birthday which will be rugby-themed, which is his favourite sport. We shall also raise a glass to the Queen for her official birthday on 12th June.

Royal Ascot Ladies Day

Friday 18th June 2021 - All Afternoon

Hats, high tea and horses will be on the agenda as the residents participate and enjoy their very own Ladies Day.

Minibus Trips Resume at Porthaven Care Homes

We were as thrilled as our residents were to see the minibuses back in action this week! In line with the UK government roadmap out of lockdown, we have resumed short trips out and about in the local areas. With our residents and staff now vaccinated, this is truly a sign of better days ahead and a welcome return to our leisure and wellness programmes.
