Wiltshire Heights is situated close to the centre of the picturesque market town of Bradford on Avon. This aspirational destination is well-loved for its charming atmosphere, together with its delightful range of shops, restaurants and tearooms. The town is also within easy reach of the World Heritage Site of Bath with its stunning architecture, great shopping and iconic attractions, and is also less than 10 minutes away from Trowbridge.

Opened in 2013, Wiltshire Heights provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Wiltshire Heights is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our south-facing roof terraces and private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Spring-Themed Sight & Sound

Monday 1st February 2021

Residents will be able to enjoy a sensory session celebrating spring. We will enjoy watching videos of spring lambs, listening to birdsongs, reading poems describing the changing seasons, tasting new potatoes with various toppings and enjoying the fragrance of spring flowers.

Chinese New Year

Friday 12th February 2021

The Wiltshire Heights’ residents and staff will celebrate the Chinese New Year – The Year of the Ox – with tea tasting in authentic Chinese crockery. This will be served by the L&W team who will be dressed in their finest kimonos to enhance the atmosphere.

Leisure & Wellness Residents’ Meeting

Wednesday 17th February 2021 - 2.00pm Willow | 3.00pm Robin | 4.00pm Poppy

This meeting is an opportunity for residents to discuss the Leisure & Wellness programme both past and future and to contribute any other ideas they wish to put forward.

The Travel Express Café

Friday 26th February 2021 - 3.00pm

The Travel Express Café will be disembarking in snowy Russia this month. Residents will be treated to a virtual tour of the great delights of Russia with the opportunity to watch a little Cossack dancing.

Reviving the Rock ‘n’ Roll Era

Rock and roll was the order of the day at our specially-created 1950’s Milk Bar, where we jived to Elvis and dressed up for the occasion. Our leisure and wellness team and our carers all donned their finest 50’s style fashion, wearing flared petticoats and vintage dresses and we danced and sang the afternoon away to Elvis Presley as we sipped milk shakes and ice cream floats. The afternoon was so successful that the music of Elvis continued to play around our home long into the evening!

Wiltshire Heights Christmas Market

Residents asked our leisure and wellness team to help them purchase Christmas cards and presents despite current restrictions so our talented team set up a Christmas market. There were stalls of crafts and artwork, wooden toys, beauty items, jewellery and Indian scarves and kaftans. Staff also donated to a raffle which raised £120 in total. Our residents said it was best Christmas market they’d ever had!
