Wiltshire Heights Caribbean Carnival
Friday 9th August 2019 - 12.00 Noon
Colourful outfits will be designed by our very own in-house fashion experts, the BOA Fashion House, for staff and residents to model. Everyone taking part in our Caribbean Carnival will parade in beautiful feather headdresses to the tune of a steel band and this will be followed by exquisite Caribbean dishes created by our chef and his staff.
Tuesday 13th August 2019 - 2.15pm
Singer, composer and producer Cecilia Le Poer Power has been invited to lead our new singing sessions for our residents who enjoy singing together for fun. Cecilia has extensive experience in the singing world and her soon-to-be released debut album features many big names in the classical music world. Cecilia is also a passionate educator and her teaching work includes a decade at Bath Spa University so we can’t wait for her to join us and teach us a thing or two.
Kris and his Reptiles

The theme in our Modern World session is currently ‘living things’ so having studied bacteria and whales in our previous sessions, this time we’ll be visited by Kris who is bringing his creepy crawlies, spiders, lizards and snakes.

Lily, one of the carers, at Wiltshire Heights will be telling the residents all about her home country – India. Lily will be talking about her culture and heritage, showing us how to wear a sari and residents will have the opportunity to sample her cooking.
