Wiltshire Heights is situated close to the centre of the picturesque market town of Bradford on Avon. This aspirational destination is well-loved for its charming atmosphere, together with its delightful range of shops, restaurants and tearooms. The town is also within easy reach of the World Heritage Site of Bath with its stunning architecture, great shopping and iconic attractions, and is also less than 10 minutes away from Trowbridge.

Opened in 2013, Wiltshire Heights provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Wiltshire Heights is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our south-facing roof terraces and private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Reception Class Fitzmaurice Primary School

TUESDAY 2ND, 9TH, 16TH & 23RD APRIL

We’re working with the local school as part of an intergenerational project and residents will be going along to the school to engage with the youngest school pupils – the reception class. Residents will be interacting with Mind Harp, a fun new musical application on the iPad as well as reading to the children.

Modern World with Creepy Crawly Visitors

Tuesday 9th April 2019 - 2:00pm

In our Modern World sessions, the current theme is ‘living things’. Having studied bacteria and whales, we’re looking forward to being joined by Kris along with his creepy crawlies, spiders, lizards and snakes.

Cyber Tuesday

TUESDAY 9TH & 23RD APRIL - 2:30pm

Wiltshire Heights’ residents will continue looking at ways of using their newfound IT skills by making contact with friends and family via Facetime, email and Skype. They’ll also be creating personal playlists and personal photo slideshows on memory sticks.

Do You Remember Project

THURSDAY 11TH & 25TH APRIL

Wiltshire Heights has been asked by the Wiltshire Council Library & Heritage Centre to pilot a scheme, working in the community on a reminiscence project. Volunteers will be ready to meet with the library staff in a social atmosphere and environment and will be able to feedback comments and thoughts helping the Wiltshire Heritage service to take this out to the community.
