Bourne Wood Manor provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure our home is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

St David’s Day

Friday 1st March 2019 - 11:30am & 3:30pm

Daffodil Magnet Making – we will be making daffodil magnets out of Fimo clay in celebration of St David’s Day. Feed the Dragon Game – can you feed the dragon by throwing him food? Join us for this fun target-based game.

Shrove Tuesday – Pancake Flippin’ Tournament

Tuesday 5th March 2019 - 3:30pm

Which of our residents will win our pancake flipping tournament? There can only be one winner!

Dementia Friends Session

Wednesday 6th March 2019 - From 6:15pm

Debbie Duggan from Bakerlaw Solicitors is a dementia champion who will be joining us to give us an insight into how dementia affects people in different ways. The talk will start at 6.30pm with a Q&A afterwards. All welcome.

St Patrick’s Day

Sunday 17th March 2019 - 11:30am, 2:00pm & 3:30pm

Shamrock Brooch Making – we will be making shamrock brooches from Fimo clay in celebration of St Patrick’s Day. Soda Bread Making – we will try our hand at making some delicious Irish soda bread! St Patrick’s Day Party – come and join in the fun with some Irish music and Guinness tasting at our party. All welcome.
