Chair Volleyball

Wednesday 1st January 2020 - Monday 6TH & 20TH January

This is a fun game of chair volleyball played in our lounge. We play two sides and the aim of the game is to keep the ball off the floor. Played to music, this always guarantees laughing and fun. Come and watch or join in with the group.

Jimmy Kent – Rock & Roll Singer

Tuesday 7th January 2020 - 3:00pm – Cedar Dining Room

A singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, piano), Jimmy’s been on stage since he was four years old. He has performed at Ronnie Scott’s, the London Astoria, the Royal Albert Hall and the Houses of Parliament and is your virtual jukebox spanning pop, rock, jazz, swing, musical theatre, funk, soul, folk, Americana, and more. Come and watch Jimmy perform at Bourne Wood Manor!

Movement to Music

Monday 13TH & 27TH January - 11.30am – Leisure and Wellness Room

Come and join this fun session where we will be moving and grooving to a variety of music. This session involves seated physical movement.

Stephen Morrish Singer

Saturday 25th January 2020 - 3.30pm – Cedar Dining Room

Stephen Morrish will be bringing his Burns Night Scottish show for residents to enjoy.

A Visit to the Watercress Line

We recently took a trip to the Watercress Line which was a fantastic day out for all who attended. We travelled from Alresford to Medstead on the classic steam trains and enjoyed a packed lunch away from the home. We all had a day to remember.

Brilliant Rock Choir Sing at Bourne Wood Manor

We were delighted to welcome the Rock Choir back to our home for an afternoon performance. Residents from the home sang and danced throughout the performance and Sally, our client services manager, joined in with the group to sing.
