As well as providing excellent care for the residents of Tonbridge, Tonbridge House Care Home is a very popular home for many residents of surrounding villages and towns such as Hadlow, Hildenborough and Paddock Wood.

Tonbridge House provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure our home is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Porthaven’s expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, café, hairdressing salon and nail bar, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

Giant Crossword

Thursday 12th March 2020 - 11:00am

We will be completing our giant crossword in the Chartwell lounge with coffee and cake from 11:00am.

Red Nose Day

Sunday 15th March 2020 - All Day

We will be fundraising for Red Nose Day on all floors so join in with the fun throughout the day. Funny dress is encouraged and all donations on the day will go towards the brilliant Comic Relief.

Margaret Chapman

Thursday 19th March 2020 - 11:00am

We will be joined by Margaret Chapman who will be selling her bespoke jewellery in the Scotney Lounge. Come by from 11am, browse her stall and see if you can pick up some unique items for yourself or your loved ones.

Mothering Sunday

Sunday 22nd March 2020

We will be enjoying a pampering session throughout the home in honour of Mother’s Day.
