As well as providing excellent care for the residents of Tonbridge, Tonbridge House Care Home is a very popular home for many residents of surrounding villages and towns such as Hadlow, Hildenborough and Paddock Wood.

Tonbridge House provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure our home is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Porthaven’s expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, café, hairdressing salon and nail bar, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

John Cheney Performs

Saturday 12th October 2019 - 11:00am

John Cheney will join us to play the keyboard so come along for an amazing morning of music and listen to the beautiful songs he’ll play for us.

Hayesbrook School Pupils Visit

Wednesday 16th October 2019 - 2:00pm

The boys from Hayesbrook School will be visiting us once again and will be chatting to our residents about their school life and the things they got up to over the summer. Our residents really enjoy their visits and the two age groups get along really well.

Hadlow College Garden Centre

Wednesday 23rd October 2019 - 10:30am

Join us for a trip out to Hadlow College Garden Centre. We will spend the morning admiring this season’s plants and enjoying a hot drink in the cafeteria.


Thursday 31st October 2019

We’ll be celebrating Halloween in style! Join us for pumpkin decorating, delicious treats and refreshments and we’ll be swapping our spookiest stories. Don’t miss out!
