As well as providing excellent care for the residents of Tonbridge, Tonbridge House Care Home is a very popular home for many residents of surrounding villages and towns such as Hadlow, Hildenborough and Paddock Wood.

Tonbridge House provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure our home is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Porthaven’s expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, café, hairdressing salon and nail bar, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped garden for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

VJ Day Celebration with Singer Jasmine Kittermaster

Friday 4th September 2020 - 11:00am

Jasmine returns for a WWII VJ celebration special, dressed in a costume befitting the occasion. Held in memory of our heroes who fought all those years ago.

Singer Kevin Walsh

Tuesday 15th September 2020 - 2:30pm

Kevin’s back and here to entertain you all with lively music and talented vocals. Get up, dance and sing along if you would like to.

Rob T – Ukulele Performer & Singer

Monday 21st September 2020 - 2:30pm

Rob has the ukulele at the ready and will serenade our residents with mellow tones, island tunes and holiday jingles. Come one and all, Rob T is sure to have something for everyone.

National White Chocolate Day

Tuesday 22nd September 2020 - 2:30pm

Let’s try lots of different types of white chocolate on this national day, deciding which is our favourite. Taste buds at the ready!
