Chalfont St Peter is a vibrant, friendly village with a strong local identity and lively community. It has prosperous businesses and excellent travel links to other major business areas and towns, yet is set in the green belt on the edge of The Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Woodland Manor enjoys an enviable residential setting in two acres of landscaped woodland garden, only minutes from the centre of the village. Woodland Manor is also a short distance away from Chalfont St Giles, Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross.

Opened in 2016, Woodland Manor provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Woodland Manor is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

All residents benefit from living in a caring environment with generously appointed private bedrooms with en suite wetrooms, and plentiful communal living areas including sitting rooms, restaurants, a café, cinema, hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room and private dining room for special family occasions.

In keeping with our unique and award winning leisure and wellness philosophy, our residents also benefit from our private and secure landscaped gardens for peaceful relaxation, gardening and if the weather permits, gentle exercising.

All of us at Woodland Manor are confident we are one of the leading care homes in Buckinghamshire. We would be delighted to show you our home, and should you decide to visit us, you will see the difference Woodland Manor makes to the lives of our residents and families.

To arrange a visit, please either call our home manager, Colleen Joubert, our client services manager, Jo Swerling, or if you prefer, simply send us a message.

CQC Rating Response

"We were surprised and disappointed with the CQC rating and report given the significant improvements made in the Home since the last inspection, and particularly since the commencement of a new Home Manager in October as, in fact, noted by CQC in its own report.

The factual accuracy of the contents of the report has been formally challenged as it contains multiple errors and unsupported conjecture, and we have requested an upgrade to the rating overall and the majority of the individual domain ratings.

We are very sorry for any concerns or anxiety caused to our residents and families as a result of the rating.

Woodland Manor has a very experienced Manager in post, and is part of an organisation rated Good or Outstanding by CQC across 87% of its homes. To the extent there are any legitimate concerns regarding the operation of the Home, however minor, we fully expect to have extirpated them well before the Home is re-inspected, and which we have requested CQC to do as soon as possible."
