Porthaven’s newest home, Hartfield House is located on a quiet leafy road in Leatherhead, a small friendly town providing easy and convenient links to London and the south-east, close to the picturesque Surrey Hills.

When life changes for you or a loved one, Hartfield House Care Home offers 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. Care is at the heart of what Porthaven do best and every member of our hand-selected team is chosen for his or her empathy and dedication to the profession. Our primary aim is to provide independence, privacy and dignity for all our residents.

Hartfield House Care Home is an elegant and spacious place to live well, from our thoughtfully designed home that has a variety of beautiful living and dining areas throughout, to every modern and practical amenity. Each bedroom has an en suite wetroom and there are plenty of varied spaces throughout to relax, socialise, enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals or indulge in hobbies. There is also a cinema, hairdressing and nail salon and a café – making it a true community. A private dining room is also the perfect place for special family celebrations and the lovely landscaped gardens are perfect for walking, gentle exercise or even gardening.

In following our commitment to wellbeing, we have specialist leisure and wellness coordinators at every one of our homes, who compile a tailored programme of optional activities, from speakers, entertainment, outings and fitness.

Knit & Knatter

1ST, 15TH, 23RD & 29TH OCTOBER - 2:00pm

Our Knit and Natter group is a huge hit amongst our residents. Whether you’d like to start a new knitting pattern, complete a project or just come along for the social side of things, you are welcome to join us.

Gardening Club

2ND, 4TH, 11TH, 16TH, 23RD & 30TH OCTOBER - 3:00pm

Even though the weather is getting colder and the leaves are turning, we will continue our gardening club and will make floral arrangements in keeping with the season. Our residents really enjoy the gardening club which is relaxing and social and we’ve learnt a lot about the different plants from different seasons. All welcome.

Afternoon Tea & Music

Thursday 24th October 2019 - 4:00pm

Join us in our café for a delicious afternoon tea made by our kitchen team and music too. This is usually a very popular occasion as we enjoy getting together and having a good time here at Hartfield House.

Book Club

Friday 25th October 2019 - 4:00pm

There are many book lovers living at Hartfield House and each week we go through and read part of a book that our residents have suggested. All welcome.
