Ducklings hatch at Hartfield House!

Date posted: 2nd May 2022

Throughout the month of April, our residents here at Hartfield House in Leatherhead, watched in anticipation as our duckling eggs hatched. It has been wonderful to watch them grow into their beaks over the course of the month and we have all noticed their unique personalities starting to develop! They have received plenty of cuddles from our adoring residents and we were very sad to see them leave to go to grow up on our local farm. Pictured here is Jim with our Leisure and Wellness Coordinator, Mandi, holding the ducklings for the first time.

100 years young!

Date posted: 1st March 2022

One of our residents at Hartfield House Care Home, Leatherhead, Christine, turned a fabulous 100 years young on Monday. Christine has been living at Hartfield House for the last three years. We celebrated her special event with a buffet made by our chef and a delicious, homemade ‘100’ cake. Barry Stevens, a favourite singer of Christine, gave us a wonderful performance full of her favourite songs and everyone had fun dressing up smartly, as per Christine’s choice. The celebrations continued as Christine opened her letter from the Queen and her daughter even surprised her for the weekend by flying from Israel! Happy birthday Christine!
