Porthaven’s newest home, Hartfield House is located on a quiet leafy road in Leatherhead, a small friendly town providing easy and convenient links to London and the south-east, close to the picturesque Surrey Hills.

When life changes for you or a loved one, Hartfield House Care Home offers 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. Care is at the heart of what Porthaven do best and every member of our hand-selected team is chosen for his or her empathy and dedication to the profession. Our primary aim is to provide independence, privacy and dignity for all our residents.

Hartfield House Care Home is an elegant and spacious place to live well, from our thoughtfully designed home that has a variety of beautiful living and dining areas throughout, to every modern and practical amenity. Each bedroom has an en suite wetroom and there are plenty of varied spaces throughout to relax, socialise, enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals or indulge in hobbies. There is also a cinema, hairdressing and nail salon and a café – making it a true community. A private dining room is also the perfect place for special family celebrations and the lovely landscaped gardens are perfect for walking, gentle exercise or even gardening.

In following our commitment to wellbeing, we have specialist leisure and wellness coordinators at every one of our homes, who compile a tailored programme of optional activities, from speakers, entertainment, outings and fitness.

Silent Disco

Monday 3rd June 2019 - 11:30am

We will be holding our first ever silent disco at 11.30am so come along and pop on a pair of headphones so you can have a little dance to music of your choosing.

Steve Sebburn – Tales of a Hero

Friday 7th June 2019 - 11:15am

Steve Sebburn, Invictus Games gold and bronze medallist, will be joining us to give an inspirational talk. He will be discussing his recovery from injuries sustained during a training exercise in Afghanistan through to winning gold and bronze at the Invictus Games in Sydney last year. Come along to hear how his determination and hard work saw him succeed.

The Yehundi School

Monday 24th June 2019 - 11:00am

The Yehundi School, a local musical school, are visiting us to give a performance for residents.

Care Home Open Day

Friday 28th June 2019 - 10:00am-4:00pm

We will be holding our Festival of Arts for Care Home Open Day so we’ve got our fingers crossed the weather will be warm as we are planning a BBQ. Badger the dancing P.A.T dog will also be performing and there will be musical entertainment and art displays from local artists and our own residents.
