Porthaven’s newest home, Hartfield House is located on a quiet leafy road in Leatherhead, a small friendly town providing easy and convenient links to London and the south-east, close to the picturesque Surrey Hills.

When life changes for you or a loved one, Hartfield House Care Home offers 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. Care is at the heart of what Porthaven do best and every member of our hand-selected team is chosen for his or her empathy and dedication to the profession. Our primary aim is to provide independence, privacy and dignity for all our residents.

Hartfield House Care Home is an elegant and spacious place to live well, from our thoughtfully designed home that has a variety of beautiful living and dining areas throughout, to every modern and practical amenity. Each bedroom has an en suite wetroom and there are plenty of varied spaces throughout to relax, socialise, enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals or indulge in hobbies. There is also a cinema, hairdressing and nail salon and a café – making it a true community. A private dining room is also the perfect place for special family celebrations and the lovely landscaped gardens are perfect for walking, gentle exercise or even gardening.

In following our commitment to wellbeing, we have specialist leisure and wellness coordinators at every one of our homes, who compile a tailored programme of optional activities, from speakers, entertainment, outings and fitness.

Can we help? We would love to answer any questions you may have. You may book a visit online, call either our Home Manager, Hannah Markland, or our Client Services Manager, Jane Macve, or if you prefer, simply send us a message.

Pamper Taster Day

Friday 1st February 2019 - 11:00–3:00pm

We will be hosting a pamper taster day, with reiki, reflexology, crystals therapy and Indian head massages on offer. Soul Mates will be coming in regularly to do pamper days but we thought we would kick it all off with a taster day. The treatments are all incredibly relaxing and the 10 minute taster sessions are £10 for 15 minutes. Soul Mates will be in again on 15th February from 11:00am–3:00pm offering the same treatments at £15 for 20mins. All are welcome to attend but booking is necessary.

Encaustic Art

Thursday 7th February 2019

We will be trying out encaustic art with Sally, which will involve the use of heated irons and melted wax to create some beautiful art pieces. A very simple yet relaxing art session.

Talk by Nigel Dawson

Friday 15th February 2019 - 11:00am

Nigel will be coming in to talk about the ‘Magical World of Musicals’. He always delivers entertaining speeches accompanied by music, video clips and slideshows on the subject he is addressing.

Barry Stevens

Friday 22nd February 2019 - From 3:00pm

We will be holding an afternoon tea dance with Barry Stevens entertaining us. All are welcome to attend.

All this is happening as well as our regular groups. Contact us today on 01372 239500 to find out more about these upcoming events and activities or why not suggest an activity yourself!
