Hartfield House is located on a quiet leafy road in Leatherhead, a small friendly town providing easy and convenient links to London and the south-east, close to the picturesque Surrey Hills.

When life changes for you or a loved one, Hartfield House Care Home offers 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. Care is at the heart of what Porthaven do best and every member of our hand-selected team is chosen for his or her empathy and dedication to the profession. Our primary aim is to provide independence, privacy and dignity for all our residents.

Hartfield House Care Home is an elegant and spacious place to live well, from our thoughtfully designed home that has a variety of beautiful living and dining areas throughout, to every modern and practical amenity. Each bedroom has an en suite wetroom and there are plenty of varied spaces throughout to relax, socialise, enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals or indulge in hobbies. There is also a cinema, hairdressing and nail salon and a café – making it a true community. A private dining room is also the perfect place for special family celebrations and the lovely landscaped gardens are perfect for walking, gentle exercise or even gardening.

In following our commitment to wellbeing, we have specialist leisure and wellness coordinators at every one of our homes, who compile a tailored programme of optional activities, from speakers, entertainment, outings and fitness.

The Oaks Ladies Day

Friday 4th June 2021

To start the month off, on 4th June, we will be celebrating The Oaks Ladies Day. We’re encouraging our residents to dress in their finery as they would for Ladies Day and we’re looking forward to an afternoon of racing in the cinema finished off with a cheese and wine party.

Ascot Week

Tuesday 15th June 2021

On 15th June, we will be hosting another Ladies Day with formal dress code and racing, followed by an afternoon tea for all.


Wednesday 16th June 2021 - 11.30am

We will celebrate the first showing of Grease the movie in 1978. We will showing the film at 11.30am in the cinema and holding a fun afternoon with a sing-along in the bistro for our T-Birds and Pink Ladies.


Monday 28th June 2021

As Wimbledon is starting on 28th June, we will be showing the matches either in the cinema or in the lounges served with Pimms and strawberries and cream daily.

Minibus Trips Resume at Porthaven Care Homes

We were as thrilled as our residents were to see the minibuses back in action this week! In line with the UK government roadmap out of lockdown, we have resumed short trips out and about in the local areas. With our residents and staff now vaccinated, this is truly a sign of better days ahead and a welcome return to our leisure and wellness programmes.
