Well done to our head housekeeper, Theresa Osborne, who has been selected for the final at this year’s National Care Awards in the Care Housekeeper category.
Theresa was delighted upon learning of her nomination which acknowledges how vital the housekeeping provision is within a home for the wellbeing of both the residents and staff. The award recognises the passion and commitment demonstrated by a housekeeper on a daily basis which makes a real difference to the lives of those within the home.
Theresa is well-known throughout our home for her commitment to ensuring there is a high standard of cleanliness for residents at all times. She runs an efficient housekeeping team and is a well-liked and respected member of our home. Theresa said: “I was shocked when I found out. I didn’t even know I had been entered but I am very proud, not only of myself, but of my very supportive and dedicated team.”
Shaun Canavan, our home manager, commented: “I’m very pleased that Theresa has been recognised for her hard work and commitment and I know that all the staff, residents and families will wish her all the best for the finals.”
Winners of the National Care Awards will be presented with their trophies at the high profile gala night held on Friday 29th November at the Hilton London Metropole attended by over 700 guests.
