Woodland Manor Welcomes Cheryl Gillan MP for Christmas Celebrations

We were delighted to welcome local MP, Cheryl Gillan, to the home to switch on our Christmas lights as part of our Christmas Choral Celebration. The appearance of the popular local MP was much anticipated amongst our residents and guests and there was a special performance of Christmas carols by the U3A choir. To the delight of residents, visitors and staff, Father Christmas stopped by for a visit too. There was also a delicious choice of homemade food and refreshments on offer, made by our head chef and his team.

Gail Davies, client services manager, said of the event, “It was a lovely occasion and it marked the beginning of a host of Christmas festivities we had planned. We would like to thank Cheryl for joining us – we were thrilled she was able to switch on our Christmas lights! Our residents always thoroughly enjoy celebrating these occasions and they were well and truly in the spirit of Christmas thanks to the combined efforts of the team here.”
