Below are a selection of upcoming activities at Chiltern Grange.

AUGUST 2022

Lorna James

WEDNESDAY 3RD AUGUST

Lorna will be joining us to sing some songs in the garden. We have our fingers crossed for some sunshine!

Marilyn

FRIDAY 5TH AUGUST

Our residents are looking forward to welcoming Marilyn on the first floor for an afternoon of entertainment.

Rice Pudding Day

TUESDAY 9TH AUGUST

To mark this national day, our residents will be treated to a classic rice pudding with jam.

Zumba

THURSDAY 11TH AUGUST

Our residents always look forward to getting up and active with our Zumba instructor.

Left Handers Day

SATURDAY 13TH AUGUST

This national day will see us celebrating all of our left-handed residents.

World Photography Day

FRIDAY 19TH AUGUST

We will be asking residents to take photos of objects around our home throughout the day and then displaying the results throughout the afternoon.

Bee Day

SUNDAY 21ST AUGUST

We are looking forward to sitting down and watching a documentary all about bees!

Kiddley Divey

MONDAY 22ND AUGUST

Our first floor residents are always delighted to be joined by Kiddley Divey, who offer a fantastic sensory experience for everyone involved.

Harry Tenor

THURSDAY 25TH AUGUST

Harry brings his charisma to every performance and residents always have their special requests at the ready.

National Dog Day

FRIDAY 26TH AUGUST

Our host will be bringing his dog in for our residents to interact with.

In addition to all these activities, we will also be holding regular groups such as:

Scrabble Club

EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 3.30pm

Join us for our weekly Scrabble Club where we will be seeing who can score the most points!

Comedy Club

EVERY SUNDAY AT 3.30pm

On a Sunday, our residents can choose from a range of old comedy including Allo Allo and Dad’s Army.

Sherry Social

EVERY FRIDAY AT 12.00pm

Our residents enjoy meeting on the ground floor for a sherry and a chat before lunch.

Bus trips

ONCE/TWICE A WEEK

Our bus rota details all of our exciting and upcoming trips. From garden centres, to safari parks, there is always something to look forward to.

Ladies High Tea / Gentleman’s Club

ALTERNATE MONTHS

This is a social gathering for everyone to enjoy a chat, a tipple and some nibbles.

Seated Exercise

WEEKLY

Our residents can enjoy taking part in stepping classes, seated food, bowls and a variety of other exercises.
