Brize Norton Cadets Join Residents for Afternoon Social

The RAF cadets come from Brize Norton in Oxfordshire twice a month to visit the residents at Penhurst Gardens. They join us for activities like singing, dancing and sometimes, play instruments. The residents enjoy their visits immensely as a few of them were members of the RAF in their younger years and enjoy sharing their stories of yesteryear with the cadets. Their visits are a very valuable contribution to the social interaction that our residents enjoy and have built up a good rapport with them. Polly (pictured) especially enjoys the cadets coming in and initiates conversation and singing with them.
