British Motor Museum Visit Brings Back Memories for Woodland Manor Residents

On Thursday 3rd May, our residents enjoyed a trip to the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire which is home to the world’s largest collection of historic British cars. Our residents were excited to take a look at over 300 classic cars, from the Mini to the Rolls Royce, with the museum serving as a reminder of the innovation and influence of the British motor industry and the impact it had on those living in the Midlands. The museum tells the story of the birth, decline and rebirth of the industry and being able to see so many different cars from years gone by brought back lots of nostalgic memories for our residents. Pictured is Norman who really enjoyed his day seeing cars from his younger years, reminding him of his first car – a black Austin!
