Residents and Families Enjoy a Spot of Tea for NAPA Fundraiser

On Sunday 31st May, we took part in the NAPA fundraiser, ‘Spottea Together’, an event raising money through virtual tea parties.
The premise of the fundraiser involved our residents hosting a virtual tea party with their family and friends, wearing something spotty and donating the cost of a cuppa to the charity all whilst having fun and enjoying conversations with loved ones.
NAPA provides support to care staff and activity teams throughout the country and their free helpline for keyworkers has been especially busy during the pandemic. By taking part, we ensured to do our bit and give back to an essential service which has proved to be vital in recent months.
We had nine virtual calls throughout the day with other relatives very generously donating money to the charity from calls made during the week. The occasion was the perfect excuse to get dressed up and speak to loved ones across a number of digital platforms.
Pictured is Molly with our leisure and wellness coordinator Julie, both wearing spots and chatting to Molly’s daughter and son-in-law who had donned their finest clothes for the call.
